Concorso d’Eleganza – Castello di Windsor
Con la gentile concessione di Sua Maestà la Regina Elisabetta II, il Concorso d’Eleganza 2016 si svolgerà dal 2-04 settembre al Castello di Windsor .
La prima adizione del Concorso d’Eleganza è stata fatta al Castello di Windsor nel 2012 prima di trasferirsi a Palazzo di St James nel 2013 , Hampton Court Palace nel 2014 e l’anno scorso il Concorso ha avuto luogo presso il Palazzo di Holyroodhouse a Edinburgh (nella residenza Scozzese di Sua Maestà la Regina !) .
Il Concorso d’Eleganza riunisce una selezione di 60 auto tra le più rare al Mondo, molte delle quali non sono mai state nel Regno Unito. Molte delle vetture presenti al Concorso prenderanno parte ad un tour di due giorni ‘The Great West Tour ‘ per poi partecipare all’evento principale, il Concorso d’Eleganza.
La giuria del Concorso d’Eleganza – Castello di Windsor, è formata dai proprietari delle auto presenti, non c’è una vera giuria formata da selezionati giudici, ma un giudizio più popolare.
Ogni partecipante è invitato a votare sugli altri modelli in esposizione per decidere quale auto è considerata il ‘ Best of Show ‘.
A complemento del Concorso d’Eleganza – Castello di Windsor saranno esposte centinaia di altre vetture, tra i partecipanti al Club Trophy . Giunto alla sua terza edizione, il Trofeo Club vede alcuni dei più prestigiosi club di auto del Regno Unito che offrono i loro migliori esemplari ad un gruppo indipendente di giudici . Il vincitore auto Club Trophy gli viene garantita la partecipazione al Concorso d’Eleganza – Castello di Windsor dell’anno successivo.

With the gracious permission of Her Majesty The Queen the 2016 Concours of Elegance will take place from 2-4 September at Windsor Castle.
The Concours of Elegance began at Windsor Castle in 2012, before moving to St James’s Palace in 2013, Hampton Court Palace in 2014 and last year the Concours took place at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh (Her Majesty The Queen’s official residence in Scotland).
The Concours of Elegance will once again bring together a selection of 60 of the rarest cars from around the world – many of which will never have been seen before in the UK. Many of the Concours cars will also take part in a 2 day driving tour ‘The Great West Tour’ in the days running up to the main Concours event.
Uniquely, the Concours of Elegance winner isn’t selected by a panel of judges but by the Owners of the cars themselves. Each participant is asked to vote on the other models on display to decide which car is considered to be the ‘Best of Show’.
Complementing the Concours of Elegance will be displays of hundreds of other fine motor cars, including entrants to The Club Trophy. Now in it’s third year, The Club Trophy sees some of the UK’s most prestigious car clubs offering up their finest examples to an independent panel of judges. The winning Club Trophy car will secure a place in the following year’s main Concours of Elegance event.
